After graduating from Acadiana High School in 1994 and magna cum laude from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1998, Dr. Gina Liggio Maestri obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the LSU School of Dentistry in 2002. While at LSU, Dr. Maestri received several awards for outstanding academic performance in General Dentistry and Cosmetic Dentistry. A passionate lifelong learner, Dr. Gina Liggio Maestri DDS has trained with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and earns at least 300 hours of continuing education every year, four times the number required by the state.
Over the years in practice she has noticed a connection to sleep apnea in her patients that led her to open SleepWell Louisiana. Sleep Breathing Disorders have a significant effect on the quality of life for both the person snoring and those around him/her physically and emotionally. Sleep is not a luxury; it is a necessity, and she is passionate about playing an active role in this silent epidemic. Maya Hall, Sleep Coordinator
She brings experience in sales and marketing and is passionate about building meaningful relationships with healthcare providers throughout the region. In her role at SleepWell Louisiana, she is dedicated to increasing awareness of sleep health and wellness while partnering with providers to connect patients with an alternative and effective treatment option that improves their sleep and overall quality of life.
Outside of professional responsibilities, she enjoys traveling, shopping, spending time with friends and family, and going on walks with her puppy, Georgi.
Jada, Sleep Administrator
With over 7 years of experience in medical office operations and customer service, Jada specializes in patient medical insurance and billing. She’s dedicated to creating a seamless experience for patients and takes pride in helping them understand and utilize their insurance benefits to support their care. When she’s not at work, Jada stays busy chasing after her energetic daughter and loves traveling with friends and family. She also finds joy giving back to the community through volunteer work at local animal shelters.
Kierra, Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
Kierra graduated from Delta Technology of Arts with a Dental Assistant Certification. Shortly after earning an Expanded Duty Dental Assisting Certification, she dove into her career and quickly knew this industry was just right for her. With over 4 years of experience, working with Dr. Maestri has allowed her to expand her knowledge every day and improve as a dental assistant. When Keirra isn’t in the dental office, she loves spending time with her adored family, reading, and being an aunt to two crazy, but handsome twin boys!
Jennifer, Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
With over 10 years of experience in Orthodontics, she was the perfect one to join our team as our practice is growing and expanding our Ortho services. She organizes our carts, orders materials, confirms patients’ measurements, and is thorough in her explanation of the ortho process so that each of her patients know exactly what they need to do at home to get them to the next step in the process to a straighter smile! Additionally, she has recently become trained in operating our Ceph X-ray, which is a diagnostic radiograph used primarily for ortho treatment planning. Jennifer attended Academy of Acadian in 2006, where she earned her certification as a Dental Assistant. Not only does she have the tenure in Ortho, but she’s also certified in CPR and Expanded Dental Duties. She loves transforming amazing smiles and the joy that her patients have once their journey of ortho is complete. Jennifer and her husband, Josh have two amazing children, Brooke and Blaise. They love being outdoors, traveling and making memories as a family of four!
Ashlynn, Referral Coordinator
Ashlynn is the team’s Referral/Scheduling Coordinator, responsible for processing new referrals and scheduling all SleepWell patients. She brings three years of experience in patient intake, specializing in DME, and five years as an Administrative Coordinator for her family-owned trucking and logistics company. She is also a certified flight attendant and freight agent.
Outside of work, she enjoys working out, traveling, shopping, and making memories with her son.
